Research on Wellbeing in Schools

Teaching is a highly stressful profession, characterized by high rates of stress, burnout and drop off. Most teachers lack tools to address social and emotional deficiency.

Our studies aimed to address the personal and environmental resources that can help educational staff flourish.

We found that imparting personal skills of self-efficacy, self-control, positive emotion and positive thought, organizational skills of meaning and belonging and environmental skills of support can increase satisfaction with life and flourishing.
